Survey: How important is good customer service to you?

For me, it can determine if i return to the establishment.





My pet hate is when a young person calls me %26quot;love%26quot; %26quot;hun%26quot; or %26quot;chookie%26quot; (i fall in the 30 - 40 age bracket) I feel this is insulting to the paying customer and a sound example of poor customer service.





Your pet hates?|||i agree with you, if i receive good service i am more likely to return and to recommend the store to friends. there is nothing worse than going to a store and be left standing there waiting for service while employees are showing no interest in tending to you, i will walk out and go else where when that happens. i also detest it when called love or darl etc by anyone and even more so if they are younger than i am. when i do get exceptional service i will always notify management , in person, and again when i get home home, either via phone or e-mail. everyone is quick to complain about unsatisfactory service and i think it is important to recognise those who do their job well.|||It%26#039;s simply because customers are turning their backs to businesses that do not deliver value.And great customer support adds value!There%26#039;s no way around it.No shortcuts.Customers demand value for money or they are out of the door.





- The level of concern shown for the individual customer





- The level of friendliness shown towards the customer





- The level of civility shown towards the customer





Unmanned front desks,surly servers,clueless staff,employees talking on the phone %26amp; managers who refuse to acknowledge a customer.It is no longer an exception ... poor service has become the norm.|||i hate it when the person serving you says nothing but the total amount.. No hello no smile no acknowledging you exist its very very bad customer service. Although i have worked in customer service for years and people can be amazingly rude to you and ruin your day in minutes|||i hate when the person is always smiling but u can tell there angry as heck or when your under the age of ten they tell you not to touch anything like at age 16 your gonna break the expensive crystal bowl.





customer service is main for me. like one time i had this coupon i got from a magazine website. it said print here for free yada yada so i took it to the store but they wouldnt except it because it wasnt the original. if i had copied it to get more, wouldnt it show up in the computer as already being used? anyways i refuse to buy from that place ever since|||VERY IMPORTANT... I used to be in customer service. My biggest pet hate is when I am ignored, they are too busy talking to work mates to acknowldge you and no, I will not go back.
