Survey....How would you deal .?

With an awkward client or customer.?

I work as a decorator and the client I have at the moment is being awkward beyond belief...How should I deal with her, she driving me mad....grrrr

Survey....How would you deal .?
If she's watching over you as you work, tell her you work better when left to it.

If she's changing her mind after she's given you instructions then tell her you cant work under those conditions.

If she's nit-picking then she's probably not going to pay you %26amp; is just trying to find a way out. Sometimes, these people are unscrupulous like that, they have a way of knowing when you need the work %26amp; take advantage

(I'm presuming you're doing an excellent job)

The only way is to stay cool, get the job done %26amp; never work for her again.

Either that ....or set your phaser to 'stun' %26amp; get yourself back off home in time for an early supper
Reply:about the only thing i can suggest you do is, to say to her if she's not very happy, take her custom elsewhere, unless you both can come to some mutual arraignment or agreement, i know this does seem to be extreme, but what other alternative do you have if you are working on your own, unless you ask your wife to see if she can help you out to see if she could have a word with the woman to see what the problem is, it could be the woman and you are much to alike, and both as stubborn as Mules, don't take any offence at all Hurf, as I'm just trying to help you out, it's really quite difficult to try to help someone out, when you don't know the In's and outs of things, Ann
Reply:Well hurf that is a difficult one:)

Firstly I would find out exactly what the problem is then I discuss it with her - if you still cant resolve then suggest to her that she finds someone else to do the job.

She is clearly being unreasonable:)

Why dont you do some nice pictures of me on the walls :)
Reply:Just tell her politely that you,r doing things the way youve alays done them, and that you like to work quietly and on you,r own if she dosent mind.If its really bad just walk away from her and ignore her.
Reply:Tie her up and gaffer tape her mouth shut and tell her that if she doesn't shut it you will paint her a lovely shade of puce, lol
Reply:Shoot her lol All you can do is be patient i guess, if you don't want to give up
Reply:In my job I walk away, usually swearing but it`s generally recognised as being ok,
Reply:Pass her onto someone else who may help her.
Reply:call another person 2 deal w/him/her
Reply:walk out on the job, where does it say you have to take this?

plenty more jobs out there people always need a good deco-rater
