Survey: Have you ever had a job where it's "your" job to argue all night long with customers...?

...and do you think those kinds of jobs are bad for your mental health to do them for very long periods of time?





...I mean...I'm getting damn sick and tired of arguing with people, but that's what the job is, so...





...should I should shrug my shoulders and say...





..."Doop!" ?

Survey: Have you ever had a job where it's "your" job to argue all night long with customers...?
But that is what you get paid for!!!





I'm in a job where I argue all night and all day (with my sons, No actually its them who argue with me!) and I'm not paid a lousy dime.





So, thank your lucky stars and yak away happily, collect your salary and splurge (between yakking away on Y/A)!!!

Reply:Yeah, say doop. You can't win such situations. Best case scenario, you appease them. You've got to detach yourself from these people and not get emotionally involved. I know, easier said than done. What do they say? Picture them in their underwear, or naked is even better, and laugh or lust - lol.
Reply:I just tell those types of customers I am calling from the law firm of Smith %26amp; Wesson and ask em if they'd like me to pay a visit.

Reply:We know you aren't typing in info about our cancelled flights back there. I know the exact clicking sound of typing in doop.com.
Reply:When I worked nights it was in a OB newborn nursery and there was always someone crying. That was easy to remedy, and I loved it.....The moms were down the hall in labor yelling, not my problem.


Yeah, just doop them off.


Working that midnight shift doing anything will make your brain sizzle.


You can do it baby, just hang up the phone and laugh your @zz off at them and know you did a good job and you will feel good.

Reply:I think it would be for you. You can argue with these people instead of the ones in your life that you would LIKE to tell off, but would burn bridges to do so. Just think of it as therapy.

Yes, jobs like that are bad for your mental health. Until you become this person that always has to either be right or constantly please. What a dual. Such is life....shrug it.
Reply:that's customer service/management in a nutshell. Shrug them off, do your job, and don't get personal w/ them.
