I am re-vamping our sandwich menu where I am the head chef at a coop. We stick to gourmet, high end ingredients and currently have a pretty dynamite menu. In recent surveys customers are looking for the new.
Think outside the box like...
Chicken Tikka Masala Salad Naan-wich
Baba Stuffed Falafel in Toasted Pita
Etc.

It may sound pedestrian, but a meatloaf sandwich with a garlic mayo, tomato, and lettuce, on a fresh baguette.
really there are so many sandwich possibilities. I feel the most important ingredient is the bread.

Reply:Turkey, alfalfa sprouts, baby Swiss with either a spinach pesto or sundried tomato spread on pretzel bread! You can add other things on the sandwich, but those would be your basics.
